Service Description
In this course, students will build confidence and clarity in public speaking through storytelling and persuasive speech. They will learn how to craft compelling arguments, use rhetorical techniques to persuade an audience, and develop engaging delivery styles. Students will also be introduced to the foundations of debate—including identifying argument types, responding effectively, and analyzing opposing viewpoints. Through a mix of solo speeches, group discussions, and class debates, students will practice critical thinking, active listening, and public speaking. Special attention will be given to logical fallacies and the art of persuasive storytelling as a tool to make arguments memorable and meaningful. The course culminates in a Presentation Day, where students will showcase both a persuasive speech and a short storytelling performance, demonstrating their growth in communication and confidence.
