Service Description
Argumentation and Debate is a course designed to equip students with the essential skills to develop persuasive arguments, analyze opposing viewpoints, and think critically. Students will explore various styles of argumentation, apply persuasive techniques, and learn to identify and respond effectively to different types of arguments. Through consistent practice, they will also deepen their understanding of logical fallacies and refine their ability to construct well-reasoned cases for change. Key Learning Objectives: Build and present structured arguments using logic, evidence, and rhetorical techniques. Analyze and respond to opposing viewpoints with clarity and confidence. Identify and apply different styles of argumentation effectively. Recognize and avoid logical fallacies when constructing arguments. Develop and present compelling cases for change on relevant issues.
